Mute swans from allover come to this place to socialize and say(?) hello to fellow swans.

Here they meet to exchange vows... to love and to cherish.

This is famous Bob's Fish & Chips... the aroma wafting out is so deliciously good the boy out walking his great dane just lost all control! By the way, Bob is my real estate broker who loves fish & chips... so he opens one, but only in my painting.

This is life... sunshine by the water and the Sunday paper... of course, jump to the sports section first of all.

What a fine day to go fishing... or to paint at the marina... guess who's that artist?

LAUGHING GULLS LANDING

I named this place "Laughing Gulls Island," where the laughing gulls rule. I wonder if there's such a place with this name, so I googled it and there's none; well, this is my original island!

"The Lodge" for the fishing enthusiasts. I like the building in my last work "Pelican Bay" so I did this one the same shape but modified the viewing tower.

I just love the sight of lighthouse with the gulls... it reminds me of my visit to New England.

Big fish and small fish... a very busy weekend with an abundance of catch!

I came up with the name "Merry Mary," a cute alliteration... makes it special and more memorable.

Same with Darlin' Debbie.

3 generations on this fishing trip... and what a catch!

Say cheese... and a big wet kiss!

The kid caught the biggest fish of the day! All help appreciated in hauling it for the photo shoot!

PELICAN BAY

Close up shot of the fishing boats.

I just love the sight of pelicans flying in formation! It's a sight to behold.

A fish market in a wonderful setting. You can't find anything like this in the real world... only in my painting!

Wow, fresh yellowfin tuna... looks gross but it is my favorite sandwich filler!

Mussels, clams, shrimps, crabs, squids... fish and more fish.

The chef with the day's catch ready to bike off to his bistro. Today's special is Grilled salmon with lemon and thyme.

Gulls perched on their favorite spots... a good vantage point to see what's going on and a nice place for gull gossips.

These boats are named after my sisters.

This couple is having a leisure swim... waiting for friends to join them.

This guy is all tuckered out... ahhh, what a refreshing nap on the pole! For the birds, these poles are prime real estates.

Gulls looking for fish scraps and other goodies thrown from the boats.

PELICAN BAY... technically, one of my most difficult works so far ("Cat Lovers Society" hands down still takes the cake!), but seeing it done is so satisfying!

Today's theme is Pirate's life and in our turf
