ONCE UPON A WINTER

I love winter and seeing the snow comes down brings back so many good memories.  I can remember my boys playing with the neighborhood kids after school even the day is so cold.  We were looking for the heavy snow for snowball fights, making snowman, and for sledding.  We were so happy playing in the snow, we didn’t care how cold our hands were, the only things we cared about were who could win the snow fight, make the best snowman, and who could sled the fastest. We always have so much fun in winter!

A STAR-SPANGLED DAY

 A day to stand tall, wave the flag, have a parade and celebrate the freedom preserved over 200 years.  To me the American flag serves as a beacon to the World, a symbol for all mankind that we have the God given rights to freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the pursuit of happiness.

 I can't wait for autumn to arrive.  This season never fails to dazzle me with its rich vibrant colors as the landscapes all around me turned into many shades of red, yellow, orange, and brown.  It brings back so many good memories of picking pumpkins, tackling the crazy maze in the cornfields, and other fun things that go with this season.
