Today is a wonderful day to shop and play at the dock.

The lady in blue has her eyes on the shop window and she's thinking... hmmm... should I get that dress?

This family have a great time at the Seaside Museum and now enjoying a stroll at the dock.

The lighthouse still serves as a beacon and is now also a part of the Seaside Museum tour.

Sailboat enthusiasts come from all over to sail these calm waters.

More sailboats come to dock... showing off their colorful sails.

Merchants display their wares to attract shoppers to browse.

A rare find... antique signboards!

An old timer at the dock... Captain and his little feathered friend having their portrait painted.

Welcome to my latest work.
Here is Walter's big red barn loaded with crates of watermelons.
This season has produced a bumper crop!
Notice the cat on the roof.

Here he's loading up the trailer for delivery and going back for more watermelons.

The kids love to drop by for some free slices at the tasting station.

ahhh... the unforgettable leisure days of summer!

Grandpa knows best, he always picks the sweetest watermelon...
not necessarily the largest one.

Little girl and dad have selected their picks of the day.

These happy chickens enjoying their fills from the abundance of watermelon seeds and scraps.

Of course, the ever present gift shop in most of my paintings... it has many things on sale for those who love watermelon designs: Quilts, fashion, toys, home accessories and knick-knacks.

This boy is having a hard time convincing his pet goat to pull his cart of watermelons!

Welcome to my blog and see my latest work. It is all about apples from the farm of Aunt Abby.

... and here's the Star of the show... Aunt Abby!!!

The Cidery. It too has the AA's Apples logo painted at the back facade.

Buckets of freshly picked big red delicious apples are being sorted out for delivery.

A stuffed straw mannequin of Aunt Abby welcomes buyers at the bakeshop. Check out the goodies from the apple farm... cider, juice, jams, wine, butter, and others.

You can almost smell the aroma of freshly baked apple pies, struddles, cakes, fritters, dumplings, etc.

Yummy apple candies in various dippings of caramel, with dark chocolate chunks & marshmallows, M&M's, sprinkles, peanuts, and coconut shreds.

Here's the Chef cooking up another batch of caramel for more apple candies.

The kids love to watch how apple candies are made. Meanwhile the cats love to chase each other up the apple tree.
